Vintage 1920s black silk gown with stunning ribbon sleeves and matching criss-cross hemline. The criss-cross pattern is repeated on the shoulders, neckline and cuffs and are studded with metal beads. The front neckline is also finished with fringe (which I believe to have been added at a later date). This dress is unlined and fastens with side snaps. This is an overdress, originally meant to be worn with a slip underneath as the front opening is quite high. In excellent condition. Many of the metal studs are tarnished, there is a small spot of fabric weakness near the side waist and a spot where a label (not the original label) used to be on the inside of the neckline. Medium size.

Vintage 1950s iridescent cranberry striped dress. With front rhinestone studded buttons and side metal zipper, this has cap sleeves and a cute peter pan collar. Unlined with no maker's label, the original belt is missing. I have added a black ribbon for display only - it will not be included with the dress.
The fabric is a soft taffeta with iridescence to it and textured white pin-stripes. In very good condition, there has been a small repair made to the right shoulder near the seam, and a teeny tiny hole in the skirt front just above the hemline.

1970s Dress Jacket with Marabou Feather Trim M507
Apricot color gown & jacket set made by Algo. Lightweight, unlined polyester stretch fabric with Marabou feather trim on jacket. Tie belt on jacket and no pockets. The dress has a high neckline with back zipper and is A-line shape. In very good condition with a tiny, tiny mark on the back near the hem and a light mark on front which will probably come out with another wash. This is a medium to large size.

1950s Black Velvet Embroidered Dress M515
My new favorite! Black velvet full skirted early 1950s dress with gorgeous embroidery work. V-front cross over style and scoop backline, this dress is unlined with a side metal zipper. Contrasting black velvet yoke at hipline and black netting trim at hem. No maker's label and in very good condition with several small repairs at the right underarm, a small hole at left shoulder edge and there are underarm marks. Please see photos.

Blue Satin Halter Dress Matching Opera Coat M513
Vintage 60s / 70s halter dress with matching opera coat. Custom couture made in Hong Kong by Lei Lei Wu Tailor. Light blue satin with embroidered floral motif. Both pieces are fully lined. The coat has fabric covered buttons and two arm holes in front near the buttons. The halter dress has a back zipper and is of course adjustable with the halter tie at back of neck. Slight A-line shape to the dress. This set is in very good condition but there are several yellow age spots along the hemline of both pieces. There are also two tiny marks (size of pinhead) on the front and back of the dress. The dress has some underarm yellowing. This is a general small to medium size, the coat being able to fit a variety of sizes.

Silk Brocade Cheongsam Dress with Opera Coat S185
Vintage couture 1980s silk and brocade suit, made in Hong Kong. A beautiful cherry red silk jacket that is reversible, showing brocade on the other side. With pockets on both sides, this is a swing style with wide cuffs and has that beautiful rustling sound and feel. The dress is a cheongsam style with side metal zipper and bodice snaps. There is a matching silk underslip. In good condition however the brocade side of the jacket has a significant color change on one side, reaching up to the collar - see photo. There is a similar, but less obvious color change on the dress as well along the side of the dress. There are also underarm stains on the slip and dress.

Vintage 60s gown made of cotton/poly white lace with yellow taffeta trim, back bow and double back sash. Spaghetti straps and lined in yellow rayon, this has a corseted bodice and back metal zipper. Attached tulle in skirt for fullness and piped waistline. No maker's label and in very good condition, no holes in lace. Slight and faint yellowing at underarm on taffeta section. Extra small size.
Note: it could not quite zip up on my mannequin, but the back zips all the way up and the double sashes are close together.

Made by Jami Exclusive, and with a back metal zipper, this is in excellent condition. There are a couple of tiny holes in the back hemline, and a couple on the inner waistband.
