HOW WE CONSIGN
Thank you for considering Some Like it Vintage to sell your item(s). All items must be cleaned and ready to wear, free of stains, rips or tears. If a repair has been made on a garment, it must be noted. We accept clothing that has been repaired, but repairs must be done in a professional manner to make the item saleable. We only accept items that pre-date 1975.
If you are not located in Toronto, please email a brief description including any measurements (if you have any), history or provenance and photos. If you are located within the greater Toronto area, an appointment can be made by contacting us at 416-237-1231 or via email at office@somelikeitvintage.com For clients outside Toronto: If we decide to take your item on consignment, we will contact you via email or phone and ask you to ship your item(s) to our office. When the item is received we will contact you immediately and then do a final inspection. Any items that we decide not to sell will be shipped/returned to you. Your shipping costs are not refundable even if item sells. If the item is received not as described, we will ammend the description.
For Toronto clients: Please make an appointment. We will arrange for a brief inspection and pick-up. Items we decide not to sell will be returned to you.
Our consignment period is open ended. We do not specifiy a length of time. Some Like it Vintage or you, may at any time end the agreement. You may also request your items returned for any reason. We may/will mark-down and put select items on 'sale' if we deem it appropriate. Consigned items are kept on our premises, and pricing is set by Some Like it Vintage. Upon your agreement to proceed, we will email or mail you a copy of our agreement which is your proof of consignment. We will pay you 40% of the selling price after shipping and processing fees are deducted. Payment will be made when a minimum of $100CAD is accumulated.
Payment will be made via Paypal, or personal cheque. We cannot guarantee item will be sold. We advertise our website through many media, but this does not guarantee a sale. Thank you. |
